Hi! I'm Chelsey the owner and canine stylist of Spotted Hyena Dog Supply. We're proudly located in Yorkton, Sask. We are in the process of expanding and opening a new luxury canine grooming lounge with another groomer, right off the heart of downtown Yorkton. I'm the definition of crazy dog mom, my life revolves around all things dog! I have four furbabies of my own. Jackson the Dalmatian, my dramatic, mama's boy soul dog, Janga, the most patient flashy diva of a Standard Poodle and Jindabyne and Jasper the two doodles that are a team of totally trouble. It all started in 2022 when I decided to add a Standard Poodle to the pack. I wanted to do fun, creative haircuts on her myself. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed grooming her and seemed to have a natural knack for it. So I took a Canine Grooming course to learn more and proper methods, I loved it so much and quickly became obsessed with pampering pups! As the universe would have it, everything snowballed and we’re here now! The name had to reflect the reason why I'm here, my dogs. Juneau my first dog, was once called a Hyena by a neighborhood lady and it stuck. The spotted is from no doubt Jackson's coat, as well as all my other dogs have spots or ticking. So from a mangled mess of trying to combine the two, I came up with Spotted Hyena! Dog Supply leaves the brand open ended to explore more spoiled doggie fun products. Like Dog Safe home fragrances and Gourmet Doggie Baking, perfect for puppy parties or just to spoil your best furiend for any occasion!
